This site uses an algorithm to decide when to buy and sell the Financial Times Stock Exchange (FTSE) 100 Index.  The algorithm uses the FTSE 100 Index price action, the FTSE 100 volatility and several other pieces of market data to produce 'buy' and 'sell' signals.   Basically, the algorithm attempts to give a 'buy' signal when the FTSE is trending upwards and a 'sell' signal when it is trending down.  The algorithm does not attempt to forecast what the FTSE 100 will do in the future, it follows the trends based on the LSE quantitative market data.
